How to configure proxy in web browser (Windows, Google Chrome)?

  1. Open the menu in Google Chrome, and click the Settings menu.
  2. Click the Under the Hood menu, which appear on the left pane.
  3. Under the Network, click the Change proxy settings... button.
  4. Under the Local Area Network (LAN) settings, click the LAN Settings button.
  5. Under Proxy server, click to select the Use a proxy server for your LAN check box.
  6. In the Address box, type the IP address or Hostname of the proxy server.
  7. In the Port box, type the port number that is used by the proxy server for client connections.
  8. You can click to select the Bypass proxy server for local addresses check box if you do not want the proxy server computer to be used when you connect to a computer on the local network.
  9. Click OK to close the LAN Settings dialog box.
  10. Click OK again to close the Internet Options dialog box.
